MAKING TIME FOR FITNESS IN 2022
Everyone wants to live a healthy life and staying fit is the first step towards that. However, with hectic work schedules and busy lifestyles, it becomes difficult to find time for exercising. But hey it’s 2022! This is your year to make it. There's no time for excuses. It's not about finding time, it's about making time!
Here are 4 fantastic tips to help you make the time to exercise in 2022 and smash those fitness goals:
1. Split up workouts into small intervals throughout the day
Working out in short blasts is a great way to stay active throughout the day. It doesn't take long to exercise, and it allows you to do something good for your body without having to set aside an entire hour for it. Boost your afternoon energy levels with a 10 minute lunchtime workout.
Easy lunchtime exercises: Squats, lunges, plank, high knees, push-ups, wall sits or simply a 10 minute walk in the fresh air. As long as you meet your goal of 30 minutes of aerobic exercise per day, this strategy will help you reach that goal.
2. Use apps to track fitness progress
There are many fitness tracking apps on the market that can help users reach their fitness goals. These apps can be used to track calories burned, steps taken, heart rate, and various other statistics. You can set daily goals and make customised weight loss plans to keep track of their progress. Some of my favourite fitness apps are C25K, NTC Nike+ Training Club, Yoga Studio: Mind and Body and MyFitnessPal.
3. Work out at home
Working out at home is a great alternative to going to a gym if you're short on time and money. Buying fitness equipment has never been easier with the wide variety of choices available on online retailers. From treadmills to
resistance bands you can have your desired piece of fitness equipment delivered right to your door in just a few days. If you don’t want to splash out on fancy equipment you can still get a total body workout without using any equipment. Check out this great

4. Invite friends to workout with you to keep motivated
People who work out with a friend are nearly twice as likely to stick with their workout routines as those who don't. Find a friend or two, and make a plan to work out and help each other reach your goals! Catch up with your bestie as you run or walk around the local park. No equipment needed just fresh air and a good gossip!
